Why Decade 2011?

2000-2010 is a decade for me, I was hit by a boat. My life has passed in a flash, and had I known what I know now growing up, choices certainly would be different. In only one way, knowing more about what is going on would aid me in understanding, at least now to the future. What can I do with the past? I can look at it, bravely face it and accept its existence. No denial, but always inquire. We must know ourselves to grow, to survive, to become better. If I do this, at least we will be able to look back and say, this happened.
